First off, many CWP classes are held in a place with NO AIR CONDITIONING, no heat in the winter and no A/C in the summer. The place I took my class was in a motorcycle garage breathing in cleaning chemical fumes all day, so choose wisely.
Second, Curriculum, for the safety part of the class Dean sticks to the NRA lesson plan with many true life stories he has pulled from media sources or from face to face conversation with people.
He will discusss safety types of handguns, double action vs. single action, storage and handling, as well as SC Law, the Do's and Dont's of gun law and self defense, and what justifies the use of deadly force.
